East Asia is usually what people think of when they think of Asia. And with a total population of over 1.6 billion, it’s easy to see why. I got to see some of East Asia in the ’80s when I was in the Navy: Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. But I really got a taste of East Asia in 2015 when exploring the giant that towers over them all: China.
