San Francisco 2018 Food Diary, Day 3

I started off Day 3’s dining with breakfast in Martinez.  Instead of an omelet (or just eggs) like I usually get, I switched things up and went with a waffle.  You gotta live a little!  I got an apple waffle, to be specific.  A waffle served with apples and cinnamon glaze and whipped cream, as the menu concisely put it.

And what you see is what you get.  After spending the day at John Muir National Historic Site, I made the trek back to San Francisco because I had dinner plans with friends.  So that’s all folks.  Part of me wishes I could have had dinner in what seemed like Martinez’s historic downtown area.  Well, maybe if I do make the visit to Port Chicago Naval Magazine National Memorial, I can make that happen.
