(Macau is an autonomous territory of China and often treated as a separate country.) I didn’t get to see too much of Hong Kong when I was in the Navy. Someday I’ll go back for a full-on exploration, including a side trip by high-speed ferry to Macau, China’s very own Vegas (with a distinct Portuguese flavor).
